  • In March 2025, I created a series of paintings made using glyphosate, a synthetic herbicide used in urban weed control across New York. Due to their toxicity, the paintings were shown in a hermetically sealed biocontainment chamber that required a hazmat suit to enter.

  • Sokndal is a small town in southern Norway that contains one of the largest concentrations of industrial waste in Europe. In January 2026, I spent four weeks there making paintings out of mining waste deposited 120 feet below the ocean’s surface.

    Additional documentation coming soon.

  • Covington, Georgia is home to a wetland park designed to detoxify stormwater runoff before it enters local waterways. I designed a series of signs that describe the park’s remediation strategies and installed them along a pedestrian boardwalk.

    Additional documentation coming soon.

  • I was born in the birthplace of the atomic bomb: Los Alamos, New Mexico. My father’s work there as a nuclear waste engineer shaped my early interest in technology, ethics, and the environment. As an adult, I regularly return to Los Alamos to meditate on these themes by making paintings using slightly radioactive dust found in the surrounding environment.

    Additional documentation coming soon.
